We're talking Z (#3 on the board), the not so veiled political allegory by Greek filmmaker Costa-Gavras. This one is well worth a watch leading up to the 2024 election as a great reminder of how fragile the line between freedom and tyranny can be.

We're back baby! After a far too long hiatus we're back with our episode on 1984's Oscar Best Picture winner, AMADEUS (#7 on the board). This one is possibly the furthest apart we've been on a movie (the only other contender is MOULIN ROUGE), choose your side cause you're almost definitely going to fully disagree with one of us.

This week we get a completely new flavor of a previous DBMN director as we cover Akira Kurosawa's 1952 film IKIRU (#2 on the board), the character study of a man who feels his life has been wasted in its devotion to bureaucracy.
